Listing descriptions that don't sound like a robot wrote them
Every AI listing opens with 'nestled' and closes with 'won't last long', because the tool averages every listing ever written. Your job is to push it back toward this one house.
The fix, in order
- Feed it specifics. 'South-facing deck that gets sun until 7pm in June' produces better copy than 'nice deck'. Give the tool the details only someone who walked the house would know.
- Ban the filler list. Add to your prompt: 'Do not use: nestled, boasting, stunning, vibrant, must-see, won't last long.' Forcing concrete words is the fastest quality jump there is.
- One true detail rule. In your edit pass, make sure at least one sentence could only be true of this property. If the paragraph fits any house on the street, it fits no buyer.
- Read it out loud. Robotic rhythm is audible. If you wouldn't say a sentence to a buyer in the kitchen, cut it.
Ten minutes of this editing beats a full rewrite — the tool drafts, you make it true.
