Buyer check-in sequences: day 1, day 7, day 30
Most leads aren't lost — they're under-contacted with nothing to say. A three-touch sequence with real content fixes both problems.
Day 1 — useful, fast
Thank them, attach what you promised, and add one thing they didn't ask for: a comparable that just sold, or the honest note about the street. Speed plus surplus.
Day 7 — the market moved
Never 'just checking in'. Write: 'Since we spoke, [specific thing] happened — a similar home on [street] listed at [price]. Want me to run what that means for your search?' AI can draft this in seconds if you feed it the specific thing. Without a specific thing, don't send.
Day 30 — permission to pause
'Still want new listings as they land, or should I check back in spring?' A graceful exit question gets more replies than a fourth nudge — and the replies reopen more deals than they close.
